Polished Concrete

Because of our extensive experience with our polishing equipment and our techniques, we are now grinding concrete floor surfaces, whether new or old, to a high-gloss finish that never needs waxes or coatings.

We provide a superior durability, permanent dust proofing and a highly reflective surface. Polished concrete bridges the gap between aesthetics and performance of concrete as a final finish.

Levels of concrete polishing

Depending on the diamond grit you use to polish a concrete floor, you can achieve different ranges of polish and different levels of sheen, from matte to a glassy mirror-like finish.

Depending of the type and quality of the concrete floor we start with a 100 or 400 grit resin bond and work our way up to 800 or even 3.000 grit resin. Wether we end with a 800 or 3.000 grit resin is a personal choice of our customer.

A 800 grit resin gives a shiny look thas is slightly cloudy. At a distance of 30 to 50 feet, the floor reflects from side to side. Floor starts to shine, but has a slightly fuzzy appearance.

A 3.000 grit resin gives a high sheen with clarity. Looking straight down on the floor, it clearly reflects overhead and side lighting. The floor is very shiny and looks wet from a distance.
